Evaluation of cardiovascular companies offering a range of emerging & developed technologies for a major healthcare company looking to acquire

Objective: Our client, a global healthcare company, was looking to broaden and strengthen its position within the cardiovascular market through acquisition.

Approach: We identified and collated information on relevant companies and application areas, which were evaluated following an extensive interview program with key interventional opinion leaders in the US, Germany and France as well as market modelling of the leading areas of interest. Detailed benchmarking was then conducted on a shortlist of companies to determine the optimal acquisition target based on a range of weighted criteria.

Results: Several strong acquisition targets were determined, which were taken forward by the client.
