Cambridge Consultants has applied Intelligent Agent technology to a number of real-time, distributed data, autonomous and semi-autonomous decision support systems. This has led to an improvement in the effectiveness of a number of land, sea and air sensor platforms.

We have designed and developed a real-time knowledge-based Helicopter Aircrew Decision Support (HADS) system for the Royal Navy - Sea King Mk7.

This technology demonstrator enables aircrew to make effective decisions based on an ever-increasing volume of data by:

• Extracting vital information from incoming raw sensor data
• Prioritising that information based on the current tactical approach
• Recommending possible courses of action to increase/maintain operational efficiency and meet long term strategic goals
• Disseminating information and decisions to interested parties as and when they need it
