Cambridge Consultants to sponsor category
at prestigious innovation awards

Cambridge Consultants will be sponsoring the ‘Electrical Technologies’ category at the upcoming IEE Engineering Innovation Awards, which will be held on 14th September 2005 at the IEE’s London headquarters – Savoy Place. The awards have been established to recognise excellence in engineering innovation across a range of industry sectors and is therefore something very close to the heart of Cambridge Consultants.

"We have been leading the way in terms of innovation, engineering and electrical technologies for over 40 years and it seems only right that we should sponsor such an important category at such a prominent UK event," commented Eric Wilkinson, head of Cambridge Consultants’ Products and Systems Business Unit. "We are anticipating entries of the highest quality in the Electrical Technologies category and look forward to meeting the nominees and winner in September."

The IEE has opened the awards to all UK companies and is hoping to attract entries from both its 150,000 members and beyond. Each of the 14 categories will be judged by industry leading figures, including Cambridge Consultants’ Chris Turner. The judges will be looking for entries that clearly demonstrate innovation at its best. The closing date for entries is Wednesday 15th June. Online application forms are available at www.iee.org/innovationawards.
