Cambridge Consultants opens its doors to wireless recruits
From 8am until 8pm on Tuesday March 27th, Cambridge Consultants is holding an open day for wireless design engineers who are interested in joining the company's world-renowned team. Individuals don't need to prepare a CV; they can either pop in to the office on the Cambridge Science Park or even discuss career opportunities over the phone.
"Cambridge Consultants' wireless division continues to grow as even more clients value the technology insight that we provide. In order to satisfy future demand we need to recruit 16 more people to join our team here in Cambridge," comments Richard Traherne, head of Cambridge Consultants' wireless division. "Fortunately we couldn't be better placed for wireless communications experts. The open day format is a great way for us to meet and talk to like-minded innovators and to illustrate the exciting potential for applicants working here."
Cambridge Consultants, a renowned world leader in wireless communications, is active in a range of markets from global satellite communications to medical devices, and has developed many 'world-firsts', including the digital radio used to manage the majority of the North American airspace, the first European Ultra Wide Band (UWB) part 15 product to obtain FCC certification, and the world's first GSM videophone, to name but a few. Furthermore, not only has the firm developed many innovative products, it has also spun-out leading wireless companies such as CSR and Alphamosaic (now part of Broadcom). It is currently looking to recruit a number of engineers across a wide range of disciplines, including radio design, embedded software, digital signal processing and project management, so that the company can continue to offer its unique brand of innovation to a global customer base.
