Pamela McNamara joins Cambridge Consultants as President of U.S. Operations

  • Former CEO and President of Arthur D. Little returns to high-tech roots to lead U.S. business of product development and consulting firm

Cambridge Consultants today announced that Pamela McNamara has joined the company’s U.S. business in the position of President.  In this role, McNamara will lead the company’s work in high technology product and systems development for clients in the medtech, wireless, defense and cleantech sectors. 

“Cambridge Consultants’ U.S. operation has seen significant growth over the past 18 months in its core markets of medical diagnostics, drug delivery and surgical devices,” said McNamara.  “We’re continuing that growth by harnessing our company’s significant intellectual property , and expertise in wireless, defense and cleantech industries.”

Prior to joining Cambridge Consultants, McNamara was CEO of CRF Inc., a leading electronic patient reported outcomes (e-PRO or e-diary) technology company providing global wireless data collection solutions for the life sciences industry.  She was also with Arthur D. Little for more than 20 years, holding a number of senior technology and management positions in Global Health Care, eventually serving as CEO of the entire organization. 

Welcoming McNamara to the company, Dr Brian Moon, Chief Executive Officer of Cambridge Consultants’ global business, said: “Pam has an extraordinarily rich track record of managing and growing technology innovation companies.  Under her leadership we look forward to continuing our growth and expanding our business in the North American market.”

McNamara also serves as a Director on the boards of GTC Biopharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: GTCB) and Southcoast Health System, and is a member of the Corporation of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Tufts University.
