What is Interface Express?

Our comprehensive library of qualified Bluetooth Profile software. Designed for ease of development of high-performance embedded systems. Operates in conjunction with BlueStack, our Bluetooth protocol stack.

What is xIDE?

Our integrated software development environment designed for ease of use and familiarity with the standard look and feel of IDE packages for PCs and workstations. The tool can be enabled to work with any target microprocessor, 'plug-ins' are available for all of our XAP microprocessor cores.

What is xIDE for Interface Express?

Our high-performance toolkit for embedding Bluetooth applications onto CSR BlueCore™ devices. Using our xIDE development environment, users can build complex applications for BlueCore - the resulting code runs natively on the BlueCore XAP2 microprocessor.

What is XAP?

Our silicon intellectual property includes a range of low power, low gate count, high performance RISC microprocessors named XAP. The XAP2 variant is licenced for use by CSR as the processing core in all of their products.

They define the way that Bluetooth protocols should be used to ensure smooth interoperability between devices. This document provides a summary of the Bluetooth Protocols and also gives a description of the many profiles that are available.
