We’re entering a new world of private networks. In an age where enterprises work around the clock to improve product quality, boost efficiency and stay competitive – all while remaining profitable – private networks offer a gateway to true digital transformation and maximum business potential.
The annual Private Networks Global Forum, hosted by RCR Wireless and Enterprise IoT Insights, will explore the untapped potential of private networks, in addition to various deployment models. It will unpack the developing market for licensed and unlicensed spectrum and pinpoint the key use cases that these new private networks will engender – among a host of other topics.&nb
Cambridge Consultants’ very own Jacob Reeb, VP of Wireless and Digital Services, and Colin Campbell, VP of Engineering, Wireless and Digital Services, join the forum for two insightful sessions:
Panel | Aligning technology investments with business outcomes – roadmap to private 5G
Building a network around legacy equipment and new IoT devices is a tremendous investment. Designing a new network starts with the understanding of the business’s long term digital transformation strategy. This session will explore all financial aspects of a digital transformation, examining:
-
TCO and ROI: how to gauge upfront and ongoing costs?
-
What tools are available to plan OPEX/CAPEX?
-
Measurable benefits: productivity, efficiency, energy, security, profitability
-
Cost of private network management – outsourcing or inhouse
-
From pilot to full deployment – scaling solutions and costs
Speakers: Jacob Reeb, VP of Wireless and Digital Services, Cambridge Consultants, will be joined by other panelists (to be announced).
Time: 16:50 - 17:20 GMT
Case study on SmartSky | Taking private networks to the sky
This session presents a private network case study that had to deliver superfast, resilient, and low latency connectivity to sites travelling at more than 600 mph and maneuvering rapidly at 30,000 ft. Attendees will gain insights on how Cambridge Consultants worked alongside SmartSky Networks to build a custom network and service management platform that is transforming connectivity for business flyers. They will also learn about the requirements, the challenges, and the strategy of implementing a private network where security, reliability and latency are stringent requirements.
