He holds deep technical knowledge in the major pillars of connected ecosystems. In working at Cambridge Consultants, he represents one of the largest independent wireless engineering teams in the world.
Speaker | Luke Lucas, Senior Manager of Engineering Business Development, T-Mobile USA
Luke manages the Build Your Own Coverage (BYOC) program for T-Mobile USA. His focus is on enterprise and in-building coverage, furthering the role of wireless in buildings as a 5th utility-like service. In his role, Luke is involved with smart building and smart city technologies, 5G wireless and the relationship between enterprises installing infrastructure and the connection to T-Mobile signal source and backhaul.
Luke has been with T-Mobile for more than two decades, previously in several regional and market development manager roles.
Prior to joining T-Mobile, Luke was a real estate manager for Pacific Bell Mobile Services’ wireless network in San Diego.
Luke is a graduate of Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California and the practitioners Master of Real Estate Development from USC’s Lusk Center for Real Estate.
Speaker | Rod Nelson, CEO, Geoverse
Rod Nelson currently is the CEO and Co-Founder of Geoverse, an innovative private LTE solution provider and neutral host operator, serving the enterprise, carriers, and end users. Prior to Geoverse, he was the Co-Founder and Principal of Tritech Sales and Services, a strategic product, business development and sales function consulting firm. He also served as the EVP and CTO of AT&T Mobility, where he led the Technology Development Group responsible for the development and deployment of the first commercial 3G networks in the US. During his career, Rod has driven both national and international regulators and standards bodies on the creation of technical standards and development of spectrum policy. He is the holder of numerous patents covering broad and fundamental aspects of wireless communications as well as co-inventor on a patent-pending, blockchain transaction platform for cellular wireless networks.
