SUMMARY:Robo business
DESCRIPTION:For humanoids to operate effectively in human environments\, they must do more than complete tasks. Humanoids will eventually also need to understand and respond to human behaviour. \nTo achieve this\, developers must integrate insights from human behavioural science into humanoid design. Advances in AI\, modelling\, and data science are now making it possible to simulate and study human behaviour at scale\, opening new paths for creating robots that align with human expectations. The next decade presents a unique opportunity to combine robotics\, AI\, behavioral modeling\, and data-driven insights to build humanoids that amplify human potential and deliver real commercial value. \nJoin us as we unpack what real human-robot collaboration looks like – and what it takes to get there! \n  \nIntegrating Behavioural Science into Humanoid Design\nWednesday\, October 15 – 2:30 PM – 3:15 PM \nRam Devarajulu\, Vice President at Cambridge Consultants \n  \nGoing to Robo Business? SUMMARY:Humanoid robot forum
DESCRIPTION:We all agree: robots – especially humanoids – must collaborate with humans. But how do we actually make that happen? True collaboration means more than coexisting. It’s about machines and humans learning from one another\, anticipating actions\, adapting in real time\, and most importantly building trust. \nBut let’s be honest\,  humans themselves struggle with collaboration at times. So how do we expect machines to be good at it? \nThat’s the challenge and the opportunity. Ram will be exploring this in-depth topic at the upcoming Fireside Chat during A3’s Humanoid Forum. \nJoin us as we unpack what real human-robot collaboration looks like – and what it takes to get there! \n  \nFireside Chat: How to Unlock Human Robot Collaboration Through Behavioral Sciences\n4:00 PM – 4:30 PM (PDT) \nGrand Ballroom AB \nRam Devarajulu\, Vice President at Cambridge Consultants \nRobert Huschka\, Vice President of Education Strategies\, Association of Advancing Automation (A3) \n  \nGoing to Humanoid Robot Forum? SUMMARY:DDF Summit Berlin 2025
DESCRIPTION:Moving to its 16th year\, the Global Drug Delivery and Formulation Summit in Berlin is established as the premier pharmaceutical events for drug delivery\, formulation and device professionals. \nThis year Cambridge Consultants will present an exciting talk that will discuss the innovative process of building a digital twin of an electromechanical autoinjector. \nIf you are attending come and meet the team after watching the session: \nSpeaking session – ‘Building a digital twin to accelerate the design and development of an electromechanical autoinjector’\nSession date and time: 10:00am – Day 2 – 3rd June \nPresentation session overview:\nDeveloping an electromechanical autoinjector is a complex\, time consuming\, and expensive process which presents unique challenges in ensuring performance\, reliability\, and patient safety. We present a method for creating a digital twin prototype of a novel electromechanical autoinjector which can accelerate the development process through a simulation-led design approach. Our twin allows in silico exploration of performance across a range of product configurations and operating conditions within a virtual use environment which includes human tissue models. This enables specification and optimisation of the system without the need for extensive lab testing\, reducing development time\, cost\, and risk compared to a traditional approach.

SUMMARY:SynBioBeta 2025
DESCRIPTION:The Global Synthetic Biology Conference is an innovation network that brings together individuals who share a passion for biological engineering and sustainability. \nCambridge Consultants will be at Capgemini booth #613 during the event to meet with clients and discuss new advancements in biotech. Please stop by if you are attending the show. \nJoin Simon Karger on a panel discussion during breakout on how AI is rapidly progressing on protein engineering and where we are heading to in the near future. \nAssessing Progress in AI for Protein Engineering: Where Are We Now\, and Where Are We Going? \nMay 6\, 2025 – 3:30 – 4:15 pm \nProtein engineering is the most active frontier for AI in biotech. We are seeing the emergence of models that can make “zero shot” predictions of antibodies\, and new variants of enzymes that would take millions of years for Evolution to produce. How should we be evaluating these models and their designs? What can we expect from the field of AI protein design moving forward? \nJoin Cassandra Padbury\, Associate Director at Cambridge Consultants\, part of Capgemini\, on a panel discussion that will focus on tangible actions to accelerate this transition and realize the full economic promise of the bioeconomy. \nMaking It Happen: Accelerating the Global Bioeconomy \nMay 7\, 2025 – 4:30 – 5:15 pm \nThis panel will bring together leaders across industry\, public sector and the community to examine the systemic barriers slowing the bioeconomy’s growth and ask\, “What best practices are we seeing to unlock progress?” Despite breakthroughs in synbio—including recent our findings showing 96% of businesses are advancing biosolutions—progress remains stalled by discovery costs\, scaling challenges\, regulatory uncertainty\, and investment bottlenecks. Join this session to understand how these challenges are being overcome to ensure synbio moves from future predictions to large-scale impact. \nFor more information please visit: https://www.syntheticbiologysummit.com/event-speaker/
