Navigating the Challenges of Generic Device Design Using an “Outside-in” and “Inside-out” Approach

Date: 15 Nov 2018
Time: 10.30am
Speaker: Suresh Gupta

The global generic product market is expected to grow significantly in the coming years. For this prediction to materialise pharmaceutical companies developing generic drugs must ensure that the generic product must “look and work” like the RLD so that it can be substituted for the RLD without the intervention of a healthcare provider or a need for additional patient training.

Suresh has been invited to give a talk at this year’s RDD Asia where he will discuss a novel approach to designing a generic product to fulfil the FDA’s requirements, while navigating design and development challenges. In his talk, he will also highlight areas for innovation and improvement in design.
