Being critically aware of information and news is of increasing importance, but Ofcom’s findings show that in various areas levels of savviness are fairly static. This session will discuss the core measures of critical understanding, with a particular focus on disinformation.

Tim will present key findings from Cambridge Consultants’ upcoming “Use of AI in online content moderation” paper and discuss the capabilities of AI in meeting the challenges of moderating online content and how improvements are likely to enhance those capabilities over approximately the next five years.
