Rod Nelson, CEO, Geoverse
Rod Nelson is the CEO and Co-Founder of Geoverse, an innovative private LTE solution provider, serving the enterprise, carriers, and end users. Prior to Geoverse, Rod had served as the EVP and CTO of AT&T Mobility, where he led the Technology Development Group responsible for the development and deployment of the first commercial 3G networks in the US. During his career, Rod has driven both national and international regulators and standards bodies on the creation of technical standards and development of spectrum policy. He is the holder of numerous patents covering broad and fundamental aspects of wireless communications as well as co-inventor on a patent-pending, blockchain transaction platform for cellular networks.
Scott F. Young, Esq., COO, Sentry Financial
As the co-founder and COO of Sentry, Scott is involved in determining Sentry’s strategic direction and leads its Equipment Financing division. After graduating from law school, Scott was a clerk at the Utah Supreme Court for Justice Christine Durham, a practicing lawyer focusing on business litigation and transactions (for over a decade at Parr Brown Gee & Loveless, and outside counsel for Sentry until he rejoined Sentry on a full-time basis in 1998. Scott has co-authored professional books on equipment leasing, including The Handbook of Leasing (1982) and The Guide to Captive Financing (1984), and lectured on the topic of equipment leasing as an instructor for Amembal, Isom, & Halladay. Scott is a member and former president of the board of trustees of The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake, a founding member of the Wasatch Clean Air Network, and a founding board member of The Lightspark Foundation. Scott supports an array of community organizations that promote protection of human rights and our environment.
Colin Campbell, VP Engineering, Cambridge Consultants
As VP of Engineering, Colin leads the US operations of Cambridge Consultants’ Wireless and Digital Services Division. Colin has over 20 years' experience in developing core wireless technology for both standards-based and custom systems, helping clients develop novel communication systems that enable innovative services within challenging environments. His current interest is in the convergence of communications and edge compute, which presents exciting opportunities for intelligent nodes distributed throughout the network to augment cloud-based compute.
