Impact

Holistic approach
Our industrial designers work within multidisciplinary teams to develop products that balance user, technology and market needs.
In our increasingly complex world, products are often part of an ecosystem with multiple elements affecting the user experience.
Our teams innovate across physical, digital and service touchpoints, delivering holistic design solutions and harmonious user experiences that grow and strengthen our clients' businesses.
Key strengths
Experience
Design capability
Our world-class designers have won many international accolades, including recent RedDot, iF, Medical Design Excellence and IDEA awards.
Our diversified capabilities include research and strategy, product design and digital UX design, as well as packaging, information and graphic design.
This ensures that our projects have maximum impact across multiple touchpoints, fitting seamlessly into people’s lives.

Research & strategy
Our teams utilise a range of research and strategy tools to better understand people’s needs and behaviours, thereby uncovering opportunities to deliver clear competitive advantage.
All disciplines are encouraged to participate in research, helping to inform and inspire decisions throughout the project.

Idea development
Our rigorous approach to the creative process means we are able to balance the many complex trade-offs inherent in product design.
By effectively managing the various inputs and identifying and prioritising key opportunities, we achieve a product vision that meets client requirements as well as user needs.

User testing
We continuously test prototypes and simulations throughout the development process with representative users, allowing us to ‘fail fast’ and rapidly arrive at the best solution.
Using a range of 2D and 3D visualisation and prototyping techniques to quickly bring ideas to life, our designers create products that are intuitive, safe and effective.

Design support
Innovative ideas are only valuable if they can become real, and that means pursuing the product vision right through to the end.
Throughout the industrialisation and manufacturing phases of the project, we work closely with clients and external partners to identify and resolve issues.
This end-to-end support ensures that we deliver the optimum product and user experience.

Tech, tools & facilities

Co-creation & co-working space
We are highly collaborative in our approach and provide dedicated co-creation facilities where we can join forces with our client teams to address the task in hand. Creative spaces throughout our offices provide a blank canvas for ad-hoc brainstorming sessions and planned workshops, inspiring our designers in their quest to develop impactful, unique and meaningful user experiences.

Build spaces
These workshops provide a space to collaborate and explore the physical form and functionality of a product and how it will be used. Equipped with hand tools, power tools, 3D printers, laser cutters and spray booths, these workshops allow for sketch model making of forms and simple mechanisms. Working in card, foam, wood or 3D printing, these models serve to inform the design process from the very early stages onwards.

Prototyping workshops
Our electronic and mechanical prototyping workshops allow us to produce technically credible prototypes that bring ideas to life and offer a powerful demonstration of their value. All while maintaining extremely high standards of quality that conform to ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 14001 regulations. Using the latest CNC and milling machines, lathes, welding gear and wire harness and cable assembly tools, we are able to produce parts very quickly and assemble full-scale working prototypes for testing and consumer trials.
