As our North America business rapidly expands, we are seeking a dynamic Technology Leader for our Energy and Industrial team. This unit is at the forefront of the energy transition and industrial decarbonization, creating world-first technologies in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. What You’ll Do and The Impact You’ll Make 

We are searching for a Technology Leader with a proven instinct for innovation and a track record of delivering complex, “first-of-a-kind” systems under demanding timelines. You must be a technologist who embraces the ambiguity inherent in creating something new and excels in driving new projects forward. 

In this role, you will: 

• Think like a founder, collaborating with business development to not only understand market trends but to define new ones, proposing and investigating novel technologies that create a competitive edge.
• Lead from the front in the rapid design, development, and deployment of trailblazing technologies, moving fluidly from client ideation to full-scale delivery.
• Navigate the unknown with confidence, guiding clients and project teams through the uncertainty of early-stage innovation to deliver concrete, world-class solutions.
• Master the art of agile execution, inspiring cross-functional teams of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate complex solutions and deliver robust prototypes and products.
• Build lasting client partnerships founded on trust and your ability to consistently lead to deliver pioneering technology in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Your work will not be confined to one area; you will have opportunities to drive innovation across CC’s diverse market sectors, from consumer and healthcare to telecoms and beyond. 

What You’ll bring to the role

• Deep Technical Expertise: Possess a comprehensive, hands-on understanding of power electronics, mastering everything from high-frequency switch-mode topologies and control systems to magnetics design and thermal management.
• Proven Technology Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, set a clear technical direction, and drive projects from early-stage concepts (low TRL) through to successful commercialization. 
• Dynamic Communication and Agility: A superb and resilient communicator who can articulate a compelling vision, solve problems on the fly, and thrive while leading through the ambiguity of technological and market shifts.
